What is a Community Resource Center?
La Manzana Community Resources is a neighborhood and community-based center where families can receive a broad range of direct services, as well as information and referrals to other programs that may be of assistance to thier specific needs.
Our Mission
The mission of La Manzana Community Resources is to connect people to services. Our activities respect all cultures and support families in creating a strong, safe, and healthy community.

• Legal and Financial Referral through the Economic Justice Project
• Access to Quality Childcare
• Car Seat Safety Education
• Family Advocacy
• Resource Parent and Relative Caregivers Support (Roots & Wings)

Parent Education
• Positive Parenting Program (Triple P): Parenting strategies and tools
provided individually or in a group setting.
• Cara y Corazon, in collaboration with the County of Santa Cruz: Strengthening
relationships between parents and children.
• Play & Learn: Parents and their young children learn fundamentals
through play.
• Personal Empowerment: Adult support group and workshops to help improve
self-esteem.
• Renacer: Support group for parents of children with special needs.

• Entry Level/Basic Computer Navigation
• Kinder Tutorial at Radcliff and Landmark schools
• Advocacy for families of kinder tutorial students
