Our Mission
Lift Line is committed to broadening opportunities for all individuals by providing and coordinating the most accessible transportation possible. "Transportation for Independent Living"

Lift Line has been providing the Santa Cruz County community with daily accessible transportation for over 20 years. We provide county residents who are disabled, elderly or frail with nearly 100,000 door-to-door rides per year.

And we are ready to serve you!

Our fleet of vehicles provide comfortable trips for eligible riders who are ambulatory or use wheelchairs or other mobility aids. Escorts, personal care attendants, and a limited number of traveling companions are welcome.

For more information, please call one of our friendly Reservationists:
(831) 425-1558 or
(831) 688-9663

Lift Line operates several transportation programs for accessible travel throughout Santa Cruz County. All programs involve an application process and eligibility requirements. Please call Lift Line directly for more information on any of our programs.

Taxi Scrip
We offer discounted coupons or "scrip" to use for taxi fares. An eligible rider buys scrip from Lift Line at a discounted rate, and then arranges his/her own taxi ride directly with one of four taxi companies in Santa Cruz County. The scrip is used in place of money to pay for or supplement the price of the taxi ride from one of our participating taxi companies.

Medical Ride Credit Program
The Medical Ride Credit Program is designed for the residents of Santa Cruz County who do not qualify for ParaCruz or MediCal transportation services or are unable to pay the $6 ParaCruz roundtrip fee. Free of charge.

Rides also provided free of charge to:
Cabrillo Stroke Center
Elderday Adult Day Health Care Center

r those enjoying any of the five Meals on Wheels Senior Dining Centers
